My dad says, Zach, you should just go have fun and explore. A lot of guys I know think it’s cool to get with a lot of girls. Chief Keef—one of my favorite artists—says stuff like, “I don’t want relations, I just want one night!” I listen to that music and love it but deep down, I know that it is not me.
This month the University of Toronto released two studies examining why people have sex— especially those of us in LTR’s. The results? Not particularly surprising, which makes me wonder. Do we need studies to help us make decisions in our personal lives? Or should we just be more thoughtful?

I know a lot of people who complain about having to tip their server at a restaurant. I even know people who stiff waiters and baristas on the regs, because they’re broke or just cheap. It’s unfortunate that customers are responsible for ensuring employees earn a livable wage. It’s even sadder that employers don’t pay their hard working employees an appropriate wage for their work. What is a decent wage? Well, anything that keeps you off of public assistance, I think. There’s no reason you should be working a regular work week and not be able to cover your expenses. But, that’s reality for a lot of people.
I just want to send out a quick public service announcement:
We're not in middle school anymore.
This fact has a few implications. (1) Stop trying to be friends with people who do not reciprocate your effort; especially if (2) Your desire to befriend certain individuals is ignited by your belief that they will make you more popular, have more fun, and generally allow you to be happy with life.
